Azeema (Gift) Terms

Azeema is a Menova service that lets you gift a dish from a participating restaurant to a mobile number. These terms apply to senders and recipients.

A gift for one number

  • A gift is sent to one mobile number and can only be collected by someone who verifies that number with a code. It cannot be moved to another number once opened.
  • Check the number carefully; it can be corrected only before the recipient opens the gift.

Payment

  • The gift is paid upfront and goes directly to the restaurant through the payment provider. The platform holds no balances.
  • The gift value is the dish's price at the time of gifting, including tax.

Gift types

  • A dish, a meal of several items, or a fixed credit at one restaurant (if the restaurant enables it).
  • Gift credit is used once, in one order at the same restaurant; if the order costs less, the remainder is not paid out or saved, and if it costs more the recipient pays the difference.

Ring rewards

  • A ring reward is given free by the restaurant and can be gifted once to another number by its owner. It has no cash value, is non-refundable, and is redeemed once within its validity.

Validity & refunds

  • The gift is valid for the period shown at purchase (30 days by default); we remind the recipient before it expires.
  • If the gift is not collected before it expires, the full amount is refunded to the sender's card automatically.
  • Once the restaurant starts preparing a gift pickup, the gift is considered used and is not refundable.

Collecting

  • The recipient chooses an arrival time or "I'm at the restaurant", and hands over the order with a code shown on their phone.
  • The Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to the pickup (arrival time, delays and no-shows).

Price or dish changes

  • If the price rises after gifting, the recipient pays only the difference if they wish to collect.
  • If the dish is no longer available, the recipient can choose another dish from the same restaurant and pay the difference if it costs more.

Abuse protection

  • New accounts have a monthly gift limit, and a gift may be collectable after a short delay from payment.
  • A secret gift hides the sender's name from the recipient only; it remains on record with us. It must not be used to harass, and recipients can report.
  • You cannot gift yourself, and loyalty points are not earned on gifts sent to yourself.
