🧑‍🏫What is the "Smart menu coach"?

In your dashboard → Menu coach: we check your menu, give it a score out of 100 and a list of fixes ranked by impact, each showing how many points it adds.

It checks: photos (starting with your best sellers), allergens, English names for tourists, descriptions, odd prices (zero, or a “was” price lower than the current one), diet badges, featured dishes, long and duplicate names, crowded categories, your country settings and halal declaration.

Some fixes are done by AI in one tap: it writes descriptions, translates names into English, or suggests allergens and badges — a batch of 15 dishes for one AI credit.

Nothing is saved without you: you see the suggestions, pick the ones you like, then “Apply selected”. Existing descriptions are never overwritten.

Allergen suggestions are estimates from common recipes — review them with your chef before approving, because Food Passport guests rely on them.

Tip: if a dish has no allergens at all, mark “✓ No allergens” instead of leaving it empty — allergy guests then see “suits you” instead of “ask the restaurant”.
